Neuromodulators Treatment

Botulinum toxin type A (e.g., Botox®, Dysport®, Nuceiva®, Letibo®) is a safe, clinically proven treatment used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, refine the jawline through masseter treatment, enhance neck contour and relieve tension via trapezius injections, and effectively manage hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Neurotoxin not only softens existing dynamic lines but also helps prevent the formation of new ones by reducing repetitive muscle movement over time. It is widely utilized for both aesthetic refinement and therapeutic relief, this treatment is performed with a safety-first, medical approach; consultation required. Contraindications apply.

What is it?

Treatment areas are determined during consultation. Neuromodulator use is approved for dynamic wrinkles of the upper face, with additional applications in the lower face, neck, and other areas considered off-label depending on the product and clinical assessment.

Treatment timelines vary depending on whether it is your first treatment at DAS or part of a combined plan. We do not overbook, allowing for careful assessment and true attention to detail at every visit. Who can get the treatment?

2

Treatments at Dijana Aesthetic Studio are generally safe for most individuals aged 18 and over; select medical-grade facials—such as acne treatments for example—may be offered to teens with parental consent. Neurological or neuromuscular disorders are specific contraindications for neurotoxin treatments, while conditions such as active cancer or chemotherapy, pregnancy, or breastfeeding will contraindicate most services. It is essential to provide accurate and complete medical history and medication information on your intake forms to ensure your safety and appropriate care.

What should I do before my appointment?

3

Pre-care instructions vary depending on the treatment being performed and will be reviewed with you during your consultation and again prior to your appointment. Depending on the service, you may be asked to temporarily discontinue active skincare products, avoid alcohol or blood-thinning medications and supplements when medically appropriate, limit sun exposure, or arrive with clean skin. Following all pre-care instructions carefully helps optimize both safety and results.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

4

Downtime varies depending on the treatment and individual response. Some services may result in temporary redness, swelling, bruising, dryness, or mild sensitivity, while others involve little to no downtime. Most effects are temporary and resolve within several days, though certain advanced or corrective treatments may require additional recovery time. Detailed post-care instructions will always be provided to support proper healing and optimal results.
